Scope and Responsibilities: * At least 5-10 years of experience in the Close Control/Precision Cooling industry, specifically from a Refrigeration / Electrical Background. * Solid experience in HVAC controls * Good practical understanding of chilled water and air conditioning systems including DX Systems. * Ability to understand and Edit Electrical line drawings * Previous work experience with various Close Control / Precision Cooling equipment, in the Data Centre Cooling Industry would be a great advantage but not essential * Upkeep and maintenance of engineer€™s tools & equipment to ensure to highest standards of safety and accuracy are met. * Management and upkeep of warranty claims throughout the entire process * Delivery and organisation of training plans for field-based service engineers * National and international travel will occasionally be required. * Upkeep and communication of technical bulletins and other related engineering information * Technical support for contract/non-contract holders as well as our service engineers and project management teams * Project management of Service Dept non-contract & technical works * Data entry and upkeep of our internal service management system for relevant works Experience / Skills Required: * Experience with HVAC products, especially HVAC Controls, CRAC Units, AHUs, Chillers, and Precision Air Conditioning will be a significant plus and an appreciation of the data-centre cooling marketplace would be a distinct advantage but not essential. * The ability to foster an environment that encourages initiative, creativity, and teamwork. * The candidate must be a problem-solver * The candidate will be a strategic thinker who can demonstrate the capability to assume increased responsibility in the future. * The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to take ownership of projects and issues and coordinate internal and external teams to bring about successful outcomes for our clients promptly. * The individual will have personal qualities of honesty and integrity and an interest in people’s development. * A willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally in Europe may be required. * A current UK driving license is mandatory. * Strong IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is essential * Excellent written, verbal, and face-to-face communication skills * The candidate will have a customer service focus and must be able to communicate * effectively with stakeholders at every level from site engineer to CEO. * The successful individual will have a growth mindset and will be able to adapt to change quickly and effectively to meet UK and HQ targets and expectations.
