Assistant Estimator

Job Description

Well established fitout and construction business in Coventry are in the market for an Assistant Estimator to join their current Estimating team consisting of an Estimator and a Senior Estimator. The role would be based in the office full-time with some work from home opportunities, 1-2 days per week, dependent on schedules. The role would be working with the exisiting Estimating team, assisting with tenders & enquiries and putting tender packages together with prices. The client is looking for someone with a degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management, 1-2 years’ in the industry and a strong desire to learn. They work on projects from £50k to £4m – refurb, fitout and new build. They work with several automotive businesses on showrooms & dealerships and are on national frameworks for MoJ works. They also work on commercial offices and industrial. Conquest is their main Estimating package, so any knowledge of that would be beneficial, but that can be taught as well. There is parking at the office, and space for new additions to the team.
