Assistant Site Manager €“ high end residential, block refurbishments and new build projects £40K – £42K plus package Croydon    Do you want to work for a leading construction company with extensive experience and a proven track record in a wide range of projects? My client have delivered high end residential projects, block refurbishments and new build projects throughout London.    Due to continued growth and a live scheme in Croydon, our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager who can help run a £2.2M full refurb of an existing property conversion which consists of extensions, loft conversions and followed by new build residential apartments. You will be reporting into the divisional manager on site, helping to lead the site team and having overall responsibility for delivering this project. The project will be running for a further 8 €“ 10 months. You will be responsible for looking after all the sub-contractors on site and health and safety requirements such as tool box talks, inductions, RAMS.    After project completion, you will be given the opportunity to take on more responsibility and oversee different projects both new build & refurbishment divisions.    Our client is open to candidates who are currently working on the tools, and who feel ready to step up to an Assistant Site Manager position that wants to join an ambitious company and have more responsibility.    After the completion of this project, our client has many similar projects in the local area as well as the Home Counties. This is truly a long-term position.    The role of the Assistant Site Manager:    Reporting to the Divisional Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Overall responsibility for successfully delivering the projects on time and within the agreed budget Managing all direct operatives and sub-contractors, ensuring planned works are completed on time, whilst minimizing disruption to residents and the public Working closely with the supply chain and clients, providing market-leading technical expertise Ensure all permits and licenses are in place from appropriate authorities Health and Safety checks.    To be successful as an Assistant Site Manager, you will need to possess the following: Willing to learn and adjust quickly to changes Be ambitious Be a team player and want to grow with the company    If this role sounds of interest to you, then please apply to the advert or give Martin Walter a call on (phone number removed).
