North West London Building Control Surveyor Up to 65k DOE A new position has been created in North West London for an Approved Inspector with a focus on employee satisfaction. The hiring managers are acutely aware of how impacting it can be on a surveyor to have too many projects so always respond by allocation a maximum project load.So you can always do your job well and ensure the continued safety of the projects that you are signing off on. This new opportunity for a surveyor to join their sociable and collaborative team in North West London will start in the New Year. Job Duties: You will perform all elements of the building control cycle from quoting fees for clients, meeting clients at project conception and advising on plans and checking compliance and issuing initial notices, You will perform all site visits which will be in a postcode cluster of North West London until final notices can be issued. Client care is paramount at this company which is why you will have a team who can offer technical advice when you need it (or a sounding board if you are unsure). You will work on residential projects from single dwellings, domestic projects to larger residential projects. The business have local offices that you will be able to use daily if you prefer to work away from home or you can work remotely. You will need to travel to the office when there is training or meetings with the team or your manager/Director. Working collaboratively you will really feel part of the business unit. What you will get: As a Building Control Surveyor you will be rewarded with a salary of up to £65,000 with a bonus, car allowance, health care, death in service and pension scheme ongoing training, memberships paid for, free internal and external training, What you will bring: You will need to have experience in Building Control and a working knowledge of the building regulations, In order to get the higher end of the salary scale or beyond you will need to be chartered with RICS or CABE.
