Cost Manager/ Commercial Manager/ Quantity Surveyor- CLIENT SIDE London; with travel within the UK every fortnightly Up to £70,000 per annum plus comprehensive benefits package including bonus What is the CLIENT SIDE role: Are you interested in working for one of the UK€™s well known residential/ hospitality developer and management companies? Pillar Partnership are currently partnered with this client to help them find a Commercial Manager to join their team and help deliver over £800 million worth of project pipeline across the UK. They are in need of a well-rounded Cost Manager/ Commercial Manager to come in and get stuck in straight away on a healthy pipeline of existing projects. You will be based in their London office two/ three days a week (plus travelling to sites when needed) working on a mix of projects across the living sector. You will be actively engaged with clients and involved in senior stakeholder meetings, so you must have experience and be confident in these situations. You also must have both FRONT and BACK end project experience (this job will be the whole life cycle of a project), so you must be knowledgeable and happy to do all aspects. For the remainder of the time, you€™ll be engaging with local contractors/consultants/suppliers to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and to budget. Who are you: The successful candidate will be involved in the whole lifecycle of schemes/ projects. You€™ll be from a consultancy environment and wanting to move client side or already in a client-side role and will have €œliving sector€ experience. You will also be comfortable actively engaging with clients (a big benefit would be to have contacts within this space). As a person you will be a motivated, can do attitude person. You will have the support of senior people but must also be able to work autonomously and get stuck in. Essentially, they are looking for a safe pair of hands with relevant experience. Ideally you will have the following experience: * Consultancy background (3-5 years€™ experience) * Experience delivering living sector projects * Experience dealing with senior stakeholders/ being comfortable in a client-facing role * Some client relationships/ contacts in this space would be a big benefit * A motivated individual who is genuinely interested in progressing their career * Experience in both FRONT and BACK end duties * Relevant University degree/ charterships * Eligible to work in the UK On offer for this role is a basic salary of up to £70,000 (depending on level of experience) per annum, plus a flexi benefits package (including bonus and car allowance).
