Role Overview: We are searching for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer with a robust background in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial heating systems and hold relevant gas safety certifications. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and installations across various commercial premises. Key Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair gas heating systems and appliances within commercial settings, ensuring compliance with current regulations. * Conduct routine servicing and safety checks of gas appliances and systems. * Diagnose and rectify faults in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime. * Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. * Provide expert advice and support to clients regarding the use and maintenance of their gas systems. * Collaborate closely with the facilities management team to plan and schedule maintenance activities. * Maintain accurate records of all inspections, maintenance, and repair work carried out. * Stay abreast of changes in regulations and best practices in the gas engineering field. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer, with a solid understanding of commercial heating systems. * Relevant gas qualifications (e.g., Gas Safe Register) are essential. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. * Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly. * A full UK driving licence. * A commitment to ongoing professional development.
