Construction Manager – Data Centre Project (Freelance to Permanent) Tier 1 Main Contractor London, United Kingdom 2 years £300 – £350 per day We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join my clients dynamic team as they embark on a prestigious Data Centre project in London. As a Tier 1 Main Contractor, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality construction projects, and they are looking for an individual with the expertise to lead our team to success. Responsibilities: * Oversee the day-to-day construction activities on the project. * Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. * Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues. * Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on the construction site. * Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Qualifications: * Valid construction-related certificates and qualifications. * Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably on Data Centre projects. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals. * In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials. Requirements: * Extensive experience in the construction industry, with a focus on data centre builds and fit out. * Ability to work on a freelance basis initially, with the potential for a permanent role. * Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
