Electrical Contracts Manager London Based M&E Main Contractor £80K – £90K plus package Join the team! Position Overview: As an Electrical Contracts Manager, you will be driven and strive at all times to be a asset to their company. You will take ownership and be given full responsibility for a number of contracts in the City of London up to £5million in project value. As an Electrical Contracts Manager, you will need to ensure that these projects are delivered to client specifications, on time, within budget and at profit to our client. Key Responsibilities: €¢ Projects from concept through to completion €¢ Submit technical submissions for approval €¢ Receive quotes from sub-contractors and liaise with the Quantity Surveyor to issue contracts €¢ Produce weekly progress reports €¢ Attend weekly site meetings €¢ Produce interim accounts, variations and final accounts €¢ Control labour and ensure projects are running to the program and within budget. €¢ Communicate well with the Directors and Engineers keeping them updated on the progress of current contracts, and providing support and direction. €¢ Take ownership and responsibility of ongoing projects €¢ Be actively involved in providing: H&S CDM documents, Programmes for work, Contract meetings and O&M Manuals €¢ Effectively manage labour and resources Qualifications: €¢ City and Guilds 17th Edition €¢ HND or Degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering would be preferred, but is by no means essential €¢ You must be able to have demonstrable knowledge of Contract Management. €¢ A strong understanding of Electrical Building Services installations and Contracts Management €¢ A will to succeed and desire to develop yourself and your understanding of Electrical Building Services €¢ This company provides generous, competitive remuneration/financial packages. €¢ This can be an immediate start and ready to get their teeth into their many contracts, in the middle of a past paced environment. €¢ Proven track history of employment What We Offer: * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. * Diverse project portfolio with opportunities for career advancement. * Professional development and training programs. * A collaborative and supportive work environment. * The chance to contribute to the success of a leading M&E Contractor If this role sounds of interest to you, then please apply to the advert or Martin Walter a call on (phone number removed).
