Electrical Maintenance Technician
Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00
Up to 34k Basic salary + Up to 10% annual bonus + great overtime scheme + hugely subsidised dental and medical + 33 days annual leave

A highly successful specialist manufacturer who supply their state of the art products to industries such as aerospace, automotive, defence and electronics are seeking a high calibre Electrical Maintenance Technician to complete their already very successful team on a Monday to Friday shift. This position completes a large expansion campaign that, due to a gigantic increase in orders and workload has seen a significant increase in head count over the past 18 months.
As the Maintenance Technician your main responsibility is to minimise plant downtime as well as ensure the effectiveness of plant machinery using planned maintenance strategies & continuous improvement techniques. You will also be heavily involved in all capex and improvement projects.
The ability to provide rapid response to breakdown where local manufacturing team require assistance
To fault find, maintain and repair plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time
To trouble shoot and repair equipment; equipment and systems to include Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and PLC
Ability to advise and delegate to ensure work is carried out in accordance with achieving optimum running time on all kit
Undertake specialist project work to assist the manufacturing team including Engineers
Refurbish plant as required
Ensure spare parts are sourced as required in support of all the above
Enter maintenance data accurately into CBMS
Provide on the job training as required
Implement 5S activities in all areas
Coordinate activities of sub-contract personnel on site as and when required
This role also covers the buildings facilities and outlets. Training provided.
In order to be effective in this position you will need to remonstrate the following skills & experience:
Time served electrical Engineer
Experience of working in a similar role.
You will come from a manufacturing, process or industrial background
