* Construction Estimator Experience (UK) * Building, Civil Engineering and Rail sector €“ New Build, Refurbishment, Maintenance * £Neg. + Bens DOE Company A successful, family run contractor that has been established since the 1960€™s completing various building, civil engineering and rail works throughout the South East. Projects range from small maintenance works through to new build and refurbishment works up to £15m in value. They have an enviable reputation for their projects completed and an admirable order book for 2023/24. Estimator An Estimator is now required to join their commercial team based in South East London. You will be an experienced Estimator Mid or senior level, with relevant experience, able to price tenders for various projects using analytical pricing techniques, developing tender proposals in accordance with Estimating Procedures. Duties include analysing and interpreting methods of measurement to establish item coverage. Take off quantities from design drawings and specifications and analyse works operations to establish appropriate working methods. The ideal Estimator will:- * Must have relevant UK construction estimator experience * Able to compile tenders in a basic format * Ideally hold a relevant construction qualification (highly desirable but not essential) * Have first class communication skills * Be commercially and contractually aware * Have a stable work history * A full, UK drivers licence This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator looking for a permanent position that offers fresh new challenges and a competitive salary and package.
