Position: Estimator  Sector: Social Housing €“ Planned Maintenance/Refurbishment Salary: £55k – £65k Location: North London My client, who are a national contractor are seeking an Estimator to join the established but ever-growing team in North London. As an Estimator you will support the generation of profitable tenders for authorization an submission, in order to maximize the order pipeline and its conversion into market share, revenue and operating profit within the business unit. The Role: As an integral member of the Property Services team, you will produce competitive tender pricing for refurbishment and regeneration projects for local authority and housing association clients. As an Estimator you will work closely with our commercial and operations teams to get a full oversight of project requirements, and package works accordingly. You will work closely with clients and supply chain and you will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders, so excellent communication skills are a must. Skills and Experience Track record of pricing and winning profitable work within residential refurbishment and regeneration Minimum 3 years Quantity Surveyor or Estimator experience is desirable. Track record of winning profitable work. Proven track record in the development of cost models and predicted life cycle costs. Strong practical knowledge of construction work types and methods.
