Fire Door Supervisor

Job Description

A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for an experienced supervisor to oversee multiple operatives on projects across London. You will be predominantly site based overseeing the day to day operations for your team, consisting of multiple fire door joiners and passive fire protection engineers. The works will cover passive fire remediations and maintenance across multiple areas on behalf of social housing clients. The successful candidate will have: Good technical knowledge of fire doors and compartmentation/fire stopping Experience working within the social housing sector The ability to liaise and report to clients and tenants where required Experience managing a team of trade operatives NVQ or equivalent in carpentry or passive fire protection SMSTS or SSSTS certification Full UK driving license Responsibilities include: Managing a team of operatives, both direct labour and subcontractors up to 10 at any one time Toolbox talks and responsibility for on-site safety Making sure materials deliveries are carried out accurately and timely Managing appointments alongside your team of project coordinators Being the first port of call for your team when any issues arise Surveying both fire doors and fire stopping and completing reports Post work inspections Assisting your operations manager where needed What€™s on offer?
