JOB TITLE: Senior Fire Engineer INDUSTRY: Fa̤ade Engineering LOCATION: London, SALARY: 60,000 + Reporting directly to the Head of Fire Engineering, the role of a Senior Fire Engineer is to provide Fire Engineering consultancy services, self-manage projects and directly liaise with clients and other interested parties, to effectively meet client۪s expectations and actively contribute to the Company۪s continued success. Key Duties: ۢ Working with clients and engineers to project manage fire engineering projects. ۢ Informing and supporting design aspirations, functionality, and architectural form throughout the design process. Key Skills and Experience: ۢ Higher education qualification in engineering or in a fire safety related subject. ۢ Already Chartered or working towards achieving Chartered Status. ۢ Demonstrable professional experience in delivering fire and life safety designs and fire engineered solutions for UK-based projects. ۢ Track record of gaining agreement for prescriptive and performance-based design solutions from approving authorities. ۢ Experience of delivering a range of fire safety consultancy services within the fa̤ade industry Key Responsibilities and Accountability: ۢ Deliver the organisation۪s Fire Engineering Consultancy services. ۢ Communicate Fire Engineering knowledge to employees within the group via CPDs or other forms of communication. ۢ Project management of Fire Engineering client instructions. ۢ Ensure compliance and stay current with all applicable fire regulations, guidance, and requirements. Keep abreast of pending and future changes. ۢ Working with clients and engineers to project manage fire engineering projects
