Hoist Operator

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CPCS or NPORS Hoist Operator to join our team in Edgware. As a Hoist Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining hoisting equipment on construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and personnel. Responsibilities: * Operate and maintain hoisting equipment, including construction hoists, goods hoists, and passenger/goods hoists * Inspect and maintain equipment regularly to ensure it is safe and functioning properly * Transport goods and personnel to and from construction sites as required * Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE * Communicate with other site staff to ensure safe and efficient operations * Record and report any issues or incidents to the supervisor or site manager * Maintain accurate records of work completed Requirements: * Valid NPORS or CPCS card for Hoist Operator * Knowledge of hoist operations and maintenance * Understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Attention to detail and accuracy * Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends If you are a skilled and reliable individual who takes pride in operating and maintaining hoisting equipment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
