Ethan James Group are exited to be working on an exclusive basis with a local family run property development company to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer responsible for all maintenance repairs within their commercial and domestic property portfolio in the Fulham, Hammersmith area and London. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, maintenance, and overall functionality of the properties. You will perform a variety of tasks related to repairs and maintenance to ensure our properties are in excellent condition and meet safety standards. You will also be required to work on refurbishment projects with a team of contractors in between maintenance tasks, assisting them with renovation works and with coordinating the supply of materials. Additional responsibilities of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer are: * Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs, such as plumbing issues, electrical faults, fire safety system functionality and structural concerns. * Perform repairs on appliances, fixtures, equipment, and structural elements as needed to maintain functionality and safety. * Conduct painting and touch-up work to ensure a fresh and well-maintained appearance of the properties internally and externally. * Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and take appropriate action to resolve issues efficiently. * Liaise with and supervise external contractors for specialised repairs or maintenance when necessary. * Collaborate with a team of contractors to ensure smooth construction process on development projects, ranging from flat refurbishment to residential ground floor rear extensions and loft conversions. * Install household appliances and equipment. * Ensure that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company policies. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing for future reference. * Provide regular reports to the Property Manager or Supervisor regarding maintenance activities, ongoing issues, and recommended improvements. Additional Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: * Proven experience in property maintenance, building maintenance, or a related field. * Knowledge of general repair techniques, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry. * Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment effectively and safely. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. * Excellent time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, and management. * Clean driving Licence and willingness to use company van to transport materials.
