Project Manager needed (Engineering Background) Location: London Position: Full Time I am currently interested in speaking with project managers with an engineering background for a well established and busy construction company in London. Specialising in civil engineering, temporary works, steel and fabrication, refurbishments, demolition, BIM, and Fit outs. As a Project Manager with an engineering background, you€™ll oversee multiple projects across London, serving as a key representative of their company. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you€™ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality results and ensuring client satisfaction. Responsibilities: €¢ Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. €¢ Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to effectively plan and execute project milestones. €¢ Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate issues. €¢ Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. €¢ Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries. €¢ Serve as a knowledgeable resource on engineering principles and construction best practices. Requirements: €¢ Bachelor€™s degree in Engineering or related field. €¢ Proven experience in project management within the construction industry. €¢ Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals. €¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and external partners. €¢ Sound knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards. €¢ Proficiency in project management software and tools. €¢ Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Package: Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
