ABOUT THE ROLE As a result of ongoing expansion and a track record of successful bids, our client seeks to enhance their Commercial Team by welcoming an adept Quantity Surveyor with 3 to 5 years of experience within Passive Fire Protection. Your responsibilities will include: * Crafting comprehensive tender and contract documentation, incorporating meticulously tailored scopes of work. * Undertaking risk and value management, as well as proficient cost control measures. * Collaborating closely with the Procurement team. * Discerning, evaluating, and formulating strategies to address commercial risks. * Being prepared to oversee multiple projects concurrently. * Conducting Cost Report Valuations. * Estimating and submitting Variations. * Conducting on-site visits as required. * Providing direct reports to the Commercial Manager. REWARDS AND BENEFITS Salary will be in the region of £45,000 – £65,000 subject to skill and experience. REQUIREMENTS The quantity surveyor would need to have a strong understanding of construction and fire protection estimating, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients and project team members.
