As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor with expertise in all aspects of quantity surveying for highway resurfacing projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success and efficiency of our projects through meticulous cost management and contract administration. Responsibilities: * Conducting detailed cost analysis and preparing estimates for highway resurfacing projects. * Collaborating with project managers to develop budgetary requirements and cost plans. * Managing tender processes and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers. * Monitoring project costs, variations, and valuations throughout the project lifecycle. * Providing timely and accurate financial reports to senior management. * Evaluating and negotiating contractual agreements. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. * Proven experience in quantity surveying for highway resurfacing projects. * Thorough knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes. * Strong analytical and numerical skills. * Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. * Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, QS software).
