Job Description

Prospero Health & Social are working with a service that operates a Residential Children’s Home catering to individuals up to 18 years old. The role involves supporting two young people with Emotional and/or Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Given the complexity of our residents, prior experience is essential. They are seeking flexible, enthusiastic individuals with a positive, caring attitude toward our young people. Responsibilities include implementing care plans and providing support across all areas. Our young residents value listeners, helpers, and those who go the extra mile for them. Shifts are available seven days a week: Day Shift: 08:00 to 20:00 Night Shift: 20:00 to 08:00 Flexibility is possible, encouraging applicants who cannot commit to full-time work to apply. Benefits: Supportive Core Team Passionate Advocacy for Young People Respectful Environment for Residents Company Benefits: Fully Funded Mandatory and Ongoing Training Stakeholder Pension Scheme 24/7 Counselling Support Free Enhanced DBS Check and Online Update Service Membership About the Role: As a Care Practitioner at Aspire House, your responsibilities include: Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people Establishing consistent boundaries and structure Serving as a positive role model Empowering young people to regulate emotions and behaviour Supporting young people according to a structured therapeutic model Organizing and participating in leisure activities per care plans Utilizing Clear Care for recording and evidencing day-to-day care and outcomes About You: Possession of Level 3 Children’s qualification or willingness to obtain Proficiency in computer literacy Experience maintaining accurate records, writing reports, or willingness to learn Previous experience as a Care Practitioner in a residential setting Additional experience in related roles such as Care Worker, Mental Health Worker, Social Worker, Youth Worker, Outreach Worker, or PRU Teaching is beneficial.
