Job Description

Job Title: Scaffolding Contracts Manager Location: London & South East Salary: £60k – £70k + package + discretionary bonus Hours: 7:00am to 5pm Monday to Friday + weekend works required Holiday: 20 days + Bank Holidays Reports to: Director The Opportunity: Our client is a newly formed London & South-East based Scaffolding Contractor with a robust order book, looking for an experienced, driven Scaffolding Contracts Manager to become a core part of their Senior Leadership Team. The successful applicant will be critical in delivering the operational and commercial strategy of the business in it€™s formative years. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader who is willing to step outside their comfort zone in a startup environment. Responsibilities: * Responsible for the operational delivery of all planned work, as well as commercial duties * Delegating duties to Supervisors and Scaffolding team * Keeping teams on task with daily monitoring of labour/ productivity * Ensuring all scaffold is delivered on time, to budget and as per design * Effectively reporting/ communicating with Site Management/ Clients Rep * Co-ordinating scaffold design team * Ordering materials & plant * Responsibility for managing & sourcing all labour required for contract delivery * Ensuring sites are run in full compliance with all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental legislation * Leading/ attending all relevant site meetings (H&S, programme/ permissions, payment applications, design etc) * Monitoring of project costs (labour, plant, materials) in liaison with the commercial team and effectively escalating and dealing with any contractual/ commercial disputes where necessary * Reviewing/ writing & briefing teams on RAMS, as well as carrying out toolbox talks * Pricing of work €“ variations, additions etc * Form new project opportunities to grow the business * Manage and develop business relationships through client account management * Produce outline strategy documents for annual growth * Liaising with accounts to ensure all invoices issued to company for labour, materials, plant etc are in line, as well as ensuring all sales invoices are issued/ chased where necessary Requirements; * Minimum of 5 Years Scaffold Project/ Contracts Management experience – Essential * CSCS (Black) & SMSTS * CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection * CISRS Scaffolding Manager / Supervisor * First Aid Certificate * Temporary Works coordinator €“ Preferred * Experience with various/ complex scaffold types * Estimating experience * Hard working * Reliable * Detail Orientated * Safety conscious * Must have a driving licence, access to a reliable vehicle, with a willingness to travel for work purposes
