A London based construction consultancy firm are seeking 2 Quantity Surveyors to join their London team. A fantastic London based construction consultancy are in need for a chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on exciting Residential and Commercial projects across all of London. They are looking for a quantity surveyor who is keen to take on career in a motivational, fun, and driven environment. With extensive project experience across the Residential and Commercial, their clients know they can trust on their highly skilled teams to secure the right outcome. These clients include British Land, Crosstree, Bankfoot and Blackstone, Stanhope, Native Land and Grainger.    Quantity Surveyor requirements: Consultancy background Strong Quantity Surveying experience MRICS is required. Experience of leading client meetings and managing stakeholders Experience of different contract types Ability to work independently and as part of a team Have the drive to develop their career and drive themselves forward Ability to communicate effectively at a high technical level with clients, members of the design team, other professionals in the industry, and contractors in all written communication Capable of working to specific targets and timescales A considered approach to negotiations with contractors    Person Specification Proven track record of Cost Management experience Proven team leadership and development record Professional, self-motivated, and proactive with excellent organisational skills Good grasp of construction technology High levels of attention to detail are essential Ability to prioritise workload and meet specific deadlines with a flexible attitude to work Ability to work within a team effectively Ability to maintain confidentiality Committed to Continuing Professional Development and commence assisting others to progress their professional chartership    You will be Preparing budget estimates/cost plans Preparing bills of quantities Preparing tender documents Tender evaluation and report Interim valuations Cost reports and final accounts including the evaluation of Contractor€™s claims Effective variation control Reporting direct to clients including presentations    They maintain a very competitive benefits package and can offer a really good balance between work and wellbeing.
