Role Overview: As a Site Supervisor for our esteemed Social Housing maintenance client, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities within various social housing properties. Your strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and exceptional communication abilities will be crucial in ensuring the timely and effective delivery of maintenance projects, all while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and manage a team of maintenance operatives, ensuring efficient allocation of tasks and resources. * Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and health and safety regulations. * Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. * Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as needed. * Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, incident reports, and work orders. * Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within the social housing maintenance sector. * Strong understanding of building maintenance, repair, and renovation practices. * Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. * Clear and concise communication abilities, both written and verbal. * Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures. * Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project tracking and reporting. * Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different project sites.
