Job Description

Learning Disabilities – Support Worker Nocturnal Recruitment are looking for experienced Support Workers with previous experience of working with Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Severe Challenging Behaviour both physical and verbal required for an ongoing placement across West London. Personal care is a must as some clients are less able than others and need assistance. You will be working supporting people with activities, personal care and making choices. You should be an effective communicator with a person-centred approach to your care delivery. Your role as a support worker will be supporting them in all aspects of life to help them achieve dreams and aspirations in all aspects of their life, they can display challenging behaviour at times so you must be experienced in providing care and support to individuals with Learning Difficulties, Mental Health Difficulties or Elderly Care. Providing clients with day-to-day support including personal care Motivating them and encouraging independence Supported Living Service Pay: £13-15 per hour Full Time: 35 hours/week, Permanent Role Able to work a fully flexible shift pattern: 7am – 2pm, 2pm – 9pm, long days, nights, sleep-ins. Sleep in shifts are a must at least once every two weeks One weekend on, one weekend off You must have: Have at least 12 months€™ experience in care work (care assistant, support worker) Must have experience working with client groups of Autism, Learning Disability, Challenging Behaviour Must Hold a valid DBS within the last 12 months – preferably registered online or be able to complete a new one Be available for a full time, permanent role Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions: Specialise in the provision of Care & Support Workers, HCAs and other Healthcare industry-specific job roles.
