Chemical Production operative

Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of chemical based products to various industries across the UK. Due to general growth they are looking to recruit a general chemical process operative to work within its facility in the Oldbury area. Applicants with training will be required to run a chemical process operation, loading an elevated hopper with base powders using a telehandler, stocking and loading liquid chemicals to plant using a counterbalance FLT, monitoring chemical levels and temperatures and liaising with incoming delivery drivers. Applicants must have a current counterbalance licence (not in house) and ideally have previous experience within a chemical production environment, this would be and advantage but not essential. Hours will be 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am rotating on a weekly basis (Monday to Friday only) Hourly Rate to start will be £12.25 per hour
