Quality Engineer Job ID: 32416 Precision Manufacturing Salary £35,000 – £45,000 per annum 8am €“ 4:30pm Monday to Thursday & 8am €“ 1.30pm Friday Worcester based business. Our client is a leading manufacturing business based in Worcester and due to internal promotions, they are seeking a Quality Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within precision manufacturing. Quality Engineer Key tasks and skill set needed: * Be proficient in corrective action processes especially working within a team of cross-functional personnel from different functions. * Demonstrated knowledge of containment activities, root cause analysis and corrective action definition and closure. * IT literate, and comfortable using Excel, Word and PowerPoint to a high standard of proficiency. * Define key improvement activities to improve the company€™s quality performance (using appropriate data to identify the key issues affecting quality performance i.e. scrap/attrition/rework/OTD) * Participate 8D improvement activities/Kaizen events with cross functional teams. * Problem solving with RCCA, Ishikawa and 5 Why root cause analysis for detailed problem solving. * Liaise with customers to resolve any identified issues. * Work with Unit leaders to develop internal processes/procedures. * Auditing experience Quality Engineer Benefits / Other * Holidays – 25 days holiday plus banks (The company elects to be closed for normal business over the Christmas period a total of 6 days of which 3 are from normal holiday entitlement and 3 are from statutory entitlement) * Pension – 5%-3% * Life Assurance – You will be covered by Company€™s Life Assurance benefits.
