Job Description

GPS are recruiting for a Wood Production Machinist based in Walthamstow. This role will support the production team and will require the successful candidate to perform key duties in the production of the companies€™ niche products. The candidate will need to perform up to three factory process; Bowl Boring (Drilling), Inside Papering (Sandpapering) & Filing. This role is very task driven and will require the successful candidate to carryout but not limited to the following technical tasks * Understand the dimensions of the processes * Set up machine in accordance with process * Accurately complete the process as requested * Work within the agreed tolerances * Maintain the agreed quality levels * Reach the agreed efficiency targets * Request feedback when unsure of process Key Criteria/Skill * Previous experience in a engineering role would be advantageous * Understand technical competencies * Good communication and listening skills. * Meticulous and excellent attention to detail * Efficient and well organised * Reliable and trustworthy * Motivated and committed to the role * Team player
