We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sutton Coldfield for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to assist the warehouse manager to ensure the warehousing and distribution functions of the business are maintained to ensure standards of quality, accuracy, safety etc are met in a timely manner and appropriate to the needs of the business and meet all legal requirements. Additional information: The assistant manager may be required to carry out any warehouse tasks and operations according to the needs of the business. Assistant Warehouse Manager Responsibilities: €¢ Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations of the warehouse €¢ Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate work €¢ Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and operations department €¢ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment €¢ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies €¢ Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes €¢ Assist in conducting regular inventory audits €¢ Health & Safety €¢ Forklift & Flexi Truck license required – training to be given if you have not already got one. Assistant Warehouse Manager Skills: o Strong leadership and management abilities o Excellent organizational and time management skills o Attention to detail and accuracy in work o Proficient in using warehouse management systems and software o Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices o Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely o Effective communication and interpersonal skills As a Warehouse Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations.
