General Operative

Alliance Personnel have partnered with an engineering company based in Birmingham, B7. We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Operatives to join the team. As a General Operative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment. Responsibilities: * Assist with the assembly, packaging, and labeling of products * Operate machinery and equipment as needed * Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas * Follow all safety protocols and guidelines * Collaborate with team members to meet production goals * Perform quality control checks on finished products * Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment Experience * Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not required * Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management * Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary Working hours, Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm , Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm Standard pay £12 per hour Overtime available and paid at higher rate Temp – Perm after 9 weeks on the agency If you are looking for an on going role with a potential to progress and build a career within an engineering company, please apply NOW!
